Upload larger images in more file formats

Digital photos have become larger and larger in size over the years, and as a result the Control Center has sometimes had a difficult time handling those huge images. It meant opening up Photoshop to scale the image down before you could upload it to your website. No longer! 

We have completely replaced the engine for all photo uploads in the Control Center to a new and much improved one which provides the following enhancements:

• Upload photos with very large dimensions (as long as the file size is 15 megabytes or less).
• Upload a variety of image types: JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP and TIF. All images will be converted to JPEG once uploaded. 
• The overall quality of the final image will be improved with a light sharpening filter for photos that are resized after uploading. 
• Large, full-size, high-resolution press photos can now be uploaded to the Ditial Press Kit section. Press photos will no longer be downsized after uploading. You can re-upload your press photos to provide the larger images on your website.
