Google Analytics is a free, enterprise-class web analytics solution that gives you rich insights into your website traffic. You must have a Google Account to set up Google Analytics for your website.
To set up a Google Analytics account, please refer to Google's Getting Started With Analytics guide for instructions.
Once you have your Analytics account set up and have added your website's domain (which Google Analytics calls a "property"), the next step is to copy the Tracking Code so you can add it to your KultureShock.Net website. See this Google help document about how to find the tracking code within Google Analtyics.
Once you've copied the tracking code, head back to your website Control Center. Click on the Website Options tab, then paste the tracking code into the box you'll see on this page for Analytics Tracking Code. Click on the Save button to save your changes.
Your tracking code will immediately appear on all of the pages of your website and Google will begin to log all of the traffic to your website within 24 hours.
Verifying Your Domain
Google will want to verify that you own the domain being set up for analytics. One of those options is with a CNAME record, which is the preferable method. Send the CNAME code that Google provides to Support via email and we'll set that up for your website.
